Information and Ammenities
The Park Ballroom, located in the heart of historic Downtown Paso Robles. We invite you to step back in time to the early 1900′s while enjoying the most modern of amenities. Almost 100 years later, fully renovated to current expectations, the Park Ballroom stands ready to transform your wedding, private party or business gathering into a truly memorable event.
With over 100 years of history, the Park Ballroom has an ambiance that is hard to find anywhere else. With its extensive facilities and amenities, the Park Ballroom offers everything needed to make any event a success. To reach the Ballroom, you must climb to the second floor, either by the grand staircase or by elevator. The ceiling is 18 feet above you, and the walls feature a warm Alder wainscoting. The stage, which can be closed off with enormous wooden pocket doors, still has its original maple floor, while the ballroom itself is carpeted. Wall sconces, festive lights, ceiling lights, and spots all allow you to set the ambiance you desire. Theatre style, the room can seat 300, and for dining, it can accommodate more than 200.
The use of the Park Ballroom includes tables and chairs. The ornate guest restrooms are finished in travertine with imported granite counter tops. The house sound system is extensive enough for concerts and includes a wireless mic. Wireless Internet is available throughout, with physical cable connections available in the stage area and at the Board Room.
The Board Room is frequently used on its own as a conference room. However, it can also serve as a bridal dressing area, groomsmen lounge, gift room, or a coat check room. The room has phone conferencing capabilities as well as an 90" TV for presentations.
The Board Room
A bar area with space for 2 servers is available. There is a fridge and a freezer located accross the hallway for each storage and access. There is also an ice chest to keep drinks cool.
The Stage Room
The Stage Room can be formed by closing the large wooden pocket stage doors in the Ballroom. It is equipped to be a conference room, though often it has served as a treasure room, buffet room, cake room, or the dance floor to be revealed to the guests when the doors are opened. This area can also double as a bridal dressing area before the event.
The full service kitchen is capable of preparing anything from coffee and croissants to a fully catered eight course dinner. There is also an inventory of place-settings, including plates, bowls, silverware, and coffee cups.
